A PEMBROKE man who admitted sexual assault (intentional touching) at Lamphey a year ago has been handed a 36-week prison sentence, suspended for 24 months.

He was also ordered to pay compensation of £500, plus costs of £650 and a surcharge of £187 by December 10.

Keith Sillence, 71, of Lowless Close, who changed his plea to guilty at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on September 10, was sentenced on November 12, 2025.

The custodial sentence was suspended because the defendant was judged to have a realistic prospect of rehabilitation and has caring responsibilities for his wife.

Sillence is required to register with the police for 10 years, reporting to Haverfordwest Police Station. A restraining order prohibits him from approaching the victim.
