A MILFORD Haven driver who admitted drug driving has been disqualified for three years.
Joanna Bates, of Plas Peregrine, Steynton, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on December 9.
The 40-year-old driver pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra on Hamilton Terrace, Milford Haven, when the proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol - a controlled drug - in her blood (namely 2.8 micrograms of drug per litre) exceeded the specified limit.
The offence carries an obligatory disqualification, and the period of the ban was set at 36 months. In addition, a fine of £120 was payable plus costs to Crown Prosecution Service (£85) and a victim services surcharge of £48. The court took the guilty plea into account when sentencing.
