A PEMBROKE man received a fine and a 12-month driving ban for his birthday after pleading guilty to drug driving.

Court records show that when Jack Morgan, of The Green, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on October 14, it was his 30th birthday.

He admitted to driving an Isuzu D-Max on the A478 Penblewin to Clynderwen on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Narberth, when the proportion of Benzoylecgonine, a controlled drug, in his blood (namely 86) exceeded the specified limit.

An offence of drug driving carries an obligatory disqualification and, taking Morgan’s guilty plea into account, the court set the disqualification period at 12 months and added Crown Prosecution Service costs of £85 to a fine of £120.
