A Monkton man is to appear on trial in July after denying assaulting a police officer.
Forty-five-year-old Mark Ion, of Longmains, denied the charge when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, relating to an incident where he is alleged to have assaulted a constable in the execution of his duty on May 4.
At the hearing, Mr. Ion pleaded guilty to separate charges of theft from two food stores in Milford Haven that occurred on the same date.
Magistrates set a trial date for July 4, at the court in Haverfordwest.
