As the cast gathers to prepare for the opening night of Beauty and the Beast on December 15, Good Fairy Gertrude is frantically looking for her bloomers.

Look out for the larger-than-life character next week as she goes ferreting here and there around Milford Haven looking for her bloomers. But where could they be? From the Port to the Pill, where are they hiding?

The Dame is getting her knickers in a twist because her best bloomers are missing and the Torch Theatre needs your help to find them. For your chance to win a family ticket for the Torch Theatre’s Festive Pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, all you need to do is find the bloomers, take a photo and tag the Torch Theatre on Facebook. The winner will be chosen at random.

Jordan Dickin is the Torch Theatre’s Executive Assistant and has been helping the Dame look for her bloomers.

“We’ve searched high and low for the bloomers – from the Box Office to the Torch Café and the Joanna Field Gallery to the auditorium, but to no avail. Obviously, they’ve gone further afield and that is why we really need your help. They could have been trodden underfoot or blown away in the recent storms, we’ve no idea and need you wonderful, willing Pembrokeshire people to help,” said Jordan.

Clues are featured on the Torch Theatre’s Facebook page. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled around Pembrokeshire – it’s a competition not to be missed and the Dame desperately needs her bloomers for the opening night!

Beauty and the Beast will magically make its way to the Torch Theatre stage from Friday, December 15 to Sunday, December 31. Relaxed Environment Performance - Saturday, December 16 at 2pm and BSL Interpreted Performance - Tuesday, December 19 at 6pm.

Note: Torch members get 25 per cent off up to four tickets purchased for Beauty and the Beast.

Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office at the Torch Theatre on 01646 695267 or visit torchtheatre.co.uk.
