A Pembroke man accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding another male is set to go on trial on Christmas Eve after denying the offence.
Thirty-six-year-old Barry Scourfield, of Military Road, Pennar, pleaded not guilty to the charge which is alleged to have occurred in Pennar on June 1 when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
He also denied a charge of possessing an offensive weapon in a pubic place, namely a chisel.
The matter was sent to Swansea Crown Court for trial with the defendant who was released on unconditional bail ordered to appear for the trial on December 24.
