A Pembroke man has been remanded in custody after being charged with possessing 4.8 ounces of heroin with intent to supply.
Thirty-four-year-old Shaun Andrew Clawson from Pembroke, but currently of no fixed abode, entered no plea to the charge when he appeared from custody at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones told the court that Mr. Clawson was arrested on November 24 in Carmarthen, allegedly a quantity of Diamorphine in his possession with a street value of £17,000.
The court heard that the defendant had two previous convictions in 2007 and 2015 in relation to drugs possession with intent to supply.
He was also charged with an allegation under the malicious communications act.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case, and Mr. Clawson who was remanded in custody was told to appear at Swansea Crown Court on December 24.
