‘Man Up Swim to the Edge’ in Solva: 0.8 mile swim from Solva Quay out to Black Rock and back - Gwen Dodd 19mins 36. Green Monster, 2.5 mile swim out to Green Scar Rock and back - Richard Gardiner 1hr 1, David Kent 1hr 6, Melanie Morgan 1hr 10 and David Meyrick 1hr 12.
RNLI Burry Port Standard Tri (1500m swim, 40km cycle and 10km run) from Burry Port Harbour: Kara Ellard was Chwistek in 3hrs 4.
Pembroke Junior Go Tri for children aged 7 - 15, aims to encourage children to take part and enjoy varying distances and disciplines: the Day family - Sophie, Chloe, Izzy and Will.
Port Talbot Half Marathon through the stunning Afan Forest: Will Lewis in 1hr 43.
Cotswolds Half IM in South Cerney, Glous: Iain Rich 5hrs 40, David Poole 5hrs 55 and Tracey Thomas 6hrs 11.
Tenby Round Table Summer Spectacular Dunk Tank raised another £102 for our charity - many thanks to all who got dunked or helped out, especially Thomas and Ewan Gardiner and Emily Roberts and Seren Barrett. Great to see Jason Hitchen and also Aled Smith, who we congratulate on his recent commissioning to 2nd Lieutenant at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.
Club ride, Tuesday, August 22: Route 12 (Cosheston) - Marsh Road, Trefloyne Lane, St. Florence, Coal Lane, The Ridgeway, down Milton Hill, turn right at Farm Shop, then left into Milton, Paskeston Road, Cosheston, Slade Cross, Myletts Hill, Buttermilk Lane, Bush Hill, Pembroke, Upper Lamphey Road, Lamphey, Hodgeston, Jameston, Lydstep and back to Tenby (23 miles). Sweepers - Tracey Thomas and Dave Poole.
Club ride, Thursday, August 24: Route 15 (Sageston and Templeton) - Tenby, Heywood Lane, Serpentine Road, Narberth Road, Devonshire Drive, turn right at Heatherton, Sageston, Old Redberth Road, over A477 to East Williamston, halfway along Temple Bar Road, turn left off heading towards Reynalton, turn right, then right again to Templeton, right at Boars Head, then left into Ryelands Lane, Kilgetty, Pentlepoir, Tenby (25 miles). Sweepers - Colin Barrett and Dan Belli
Note that rides start at 6.30 pm from Tenby Leisure Centre car park. Helmets to be worn on all club rides. We ride in three groups, with the aim that no-one gets left behind.
