Tenby Tennis Club started the New Year by awarding its annual trophy for club Player of the Year for 2017.

The trophy was kindly donated by Robert Mayhew in memory of his mother who worked at Greenhill School and was a great tennis fan.

Amongst the qualities required of the recipient were loyalty, commitment, enthusiasm, improvement and a team player.

With several candidates to choose from and after much discussion, the coaches decided to award the Tenby Tennis Club Player of the Year 2017 to Seren Allen. She has been a dedicated member of the club for many years. Her improvement and development both as a player and as an assistant has been most impressive. Many congratulations Seren.
