South Hook LNG recently welcomed a number of local community groups to the Terminal in Milford Haven, having supported their ventures through the company's community development programme.
Representatives from Ty Hafan, Milford Haven Music Festival, Skokholm Island Trust, Milford Round Table and Adams' Bucketful of Hope Appeal were given the opportunity to find out more about what the company does and also share their experiences of volunteering with the staff at South Hook LNG.
Over the years, South Hook LNG has been privileged to support many local voluntary groups and charities across the county.
The event was a chance for further development of those relationships, with South Hook LNG welcoming community groups to the facility, explaining the role that the terminal plays in the industry, as one of Europe's largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) re-gasification terminals.
The afternoon was a positive reminder of the outstanding contribution that many community groups make to the county and the support that South Hook LNG is actively offering to these projects.
Plans for increased community volunteering and involvement of South Hook LNG staff were also discussed during the event. The company is looking forward to hosting further visits over the coming months.
