Congratulations have been given to Pembrokeshire County Council’s recently retired press and public relations manager, who was created a Member of the Victorian Order (MVO) in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours on the very day he retired,

Len Mullins served in his role with the local authority for 21 years.

Clr. David Simpson, Leader of Pembrokeshire County Council, said: “I would like to congratulate Len Mullins, Pembrokeshire County Council’s newly retired Press and Public Relations Manager, on his recently-announced honour.

“Len was created a Member of the Victorian Order (MVO) in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours after 21 years in his role at the Council.

“The award is for his work on behalf of the Dyfed Lieutenancy in organising royal visits to Pembrokeshire and similar services.

“My sincere thanks also go to Len for all his work on behalf of the authority and my very best wishes for his retirement,” he added.
