Patients of Meddygfa Penrhyn are invited to share their experience as a patient of their practice at drop-in events held by Hywel Dda University Health Board.
The Health Board’s primary care teams will be available to speak to at St David's City Hall (SA62 6SD) on Tuesday 24 June between 2pm and 5.30pm and at Solva Memorial Hall (SA62 6TE) on Thursday, June 26 between 2pm and 6pm.
Following a period of engagement in 2024, Meddygfa Penrhyn was established in November, bringing together the care provided by Solva and St Davids GP practices for patients living across the peninsula.
These drop-in events are an opportunity for the local community to feedback how these changes have affected their experience of general medical services, what is working well at Meddygfa Penrhyn and what could be improved.
Jill Paterson, Director of Primary Care, Community and Long-Term Care at Hywel Dda UHB, said: “We are now eight months on from the changes and feedback so far from patients and community representatives has been broadly positive, which is a credit to the practice team who have integrated well.
“We know there is still room for improvement and development, and we want to hear from patients and our communities on how we can improve the care we provide.”
These drop-in events are a valuable opportunity for patients and the wider community to share their experiences of Meddygfa Penrhyn, and to help us shape local primary care services going forward.
