The Growing Wild Festive Ffair is held at Dewslake Farm, Lamphey on Saturday, December 4 from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, December 5 from 10 am to 4 pm.
With all local stallholders, food vendors, musicians and artists, The Growing Wild Festive Ffair is a great opportunity to bag yourself some extra special Christmas gifts and treats, have a memorable family day out and support local businesses.
Over two days, there are workshops for a variety or ages from making eco-reindeer food, to floral table decorations, candle making, crafts, suncatchers, pottery and pizza all run by local artists and experts so that you can create your own gifts, decorations, or lunch!
Undercover in the barn and bell tents there will be over 25 stalls with a vast array of beautifully hand-crafted products and locally made produce, you will be sure to find something different to give friends and family, or to treat yourself.
Food options include tasty pizzas from the wonderful J & J Woodfired Pizzas, and the fabulous Long Meadow Bakery will be serving delicious soups, snacks, mulled wine and hot drinks from the on-site café. Don’t forget your reusable mugs!
To further add to the festive vibes, we have live music and entertainment throughout both days.
Saturday’s line-up includes Castle Brass Community Wind Band playing festive tunes and carols, Caroline Harrison singing beautiful solo pieces and Jess Ward with her harp creating stunning Celtic sounds for you to enjoy.
Sunday’s line-up looks like this; The Sleigh Belles a fun, festive duo, an appearance from Sparkle the Elf, Samba Doc will be making some noise followed by more chilled gypsy jazz music from The Swingin Nettles.
To top off the weekend the big man himself will be joining us. Santa will be pitching his campervan at Dewslake and along with his helper-elves from Dezza’s Cabin will be meeting children, giving out treats and offering the opportunity for photos. Dezza’s Cabin, is a local charity helping the people of Pembrokeshire when they need it most please take a look at their social media.
Entry to the Festive Ffair is £3 per adult (under 16s are free) with £1 of each booking going to Ty Hafan, a Welsh registered charity that provides holistic palliative care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families from throughout Wales. Over the Summer Dewslake raised over £6,000 for Ty Hafan with PYO sunflowers and are looking to continue to build on that total.
Please note that if you wish to take part in the pizza making or floral decoration workshops then we recommend booking in advance as places are limited, the other workshops you will be able to book on to during the day.
