The road through the village runs close to the sea, and during the early hours of today, Wednesday, November 5, at full tide, the supporting bank next to the road was taken away.
It follows a similar incident at Solva, where a landslide saw access to the the coast path closed, and comes as Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire faces extensive flooding as a result of heavy rainfall and high river levels.

A high number of roads around the County are still impacted by surface water and fluvial flooding, worsened by saturated ground, field run off and leaves blocking drains. The rain has eased, and weather will remain overcast with patchy light rain in places. Drivers are reminded to be mindful on the roads and follow signs. Our highways team are under significant pressure and attending on a risk priority basis.
