Haverfordwest magistrates have fined a Pembrokeshire woman £2,700 for failing to comply with a Community Order following neglect of an animal.

Natalie Morris, of Axton HIll, was issued with a Community Order on April 6, 2023 after being convicted of failing to provide adequate nutrition for a horse named Ben KH/01 at Clay Lane, Merlins Bridge between December 16, 2021 and February 16, 2022.

She had also been convicted of failing to provide adequate protection for the horse, resulting in a rain scald on his back.

The 40-year-old admitted failing to attend Community Payback or keep in touch with the Responsible Officer. In addition to two fines totalling £2,700, Miss Morris must pay costs of £180.
