A Pembroke Dock man has been jailed after aggravated theft of a vehicle.

On March 18, Haverfordwest Magistrates Court heard how Peter Edgar, of Stranraer Road, Pennar, had taken a Peugeot 207 from a Milford Haven property without permission, causing damage before it was recovered.

Pleading guilty, Edgar also admitted to driving the car on Old Hakin Road without a suitable licence and while ‘over the limit’. Tests showed 104 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath.

Edgar was committed to prison for 12 weeks (total custodial period 16 weeks) and ordered to pay £150 compensation, plus £85 costs. He has been banned from driving for 1273 days, extended by 56, and a restraining order lasts until March 17, 2026.
