A MAN has been ordered to pay out over £2,500 after pleading guilty to assaulting a youth at Narberth last Christmas.

The 45-year-old, who resides in Bournemouth and is not named here in order to help protect young persons’ anonymity, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on March 31. There he admitted to beating the youth at Narberth on December 27, 2025.

The sentence comprised a fine of £1,876, plus £85 costs and a £742 victim support services surcharge, payments to be made in monthly instalments of £250. No compensation was added, on the grounds that there as no loss or damage, and the potential for causing further family rifts.
