A MILFORD Haven resident has been remanded in custody following drugs convictions but denies assaulting a female.

Reece Cookson, aged 33, of Hawthorn Path, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on January 21.

Two drug related offences are not in doubt: cultivating a quantity of cannabis plants on January 19 and possessing cannabis resin, a controlled drug of class B.

Cookson pleaded not guilty to the assault charge, however. The charge alleges the assault of a female on or around January 19 at the Mount Estate, Milford Haven, occasioning her actual bodily harm.
