JAN Sullivan and Roy Peters gained gold medals in the Tenby and District Camera Club 1st Open Competition after entries were critiqued by the excellent and experienced judge, Ed Cloutman.

With 24 print entries and 49 digital entries from 26 club photographers, a fair and efficient style was the order of the day.

Results in the print competition were as follows:

Gold: Jan Sullivan ‘The Grey on the moors’; Silver: Charlie Kidd ‘Pair of BeeEaters’; Bronze: Ali Rees ‘Walking Eryri’. There were four Highly Commended prints - awarded to Charlie Kidd, Rob Cox, Jan Sullivan and Ali Rees - and four Commended prints awarded to John Slater, Roy Peters, Francis White and John Whitehurst.

Digital entries yielded the following results:

Gold: Roy Peters ‘Where Has Mommy Gone’; Silver: Jan Sullivan ‘Flying through the storm’; Bronze: Steve Howells ‘The Climber on Arettica’. There were six digital images awarded Highly Commended - by Alan Brown, John Powell, Steve Howells, John Whitehurst, Cheryl Hewitt and Roy Peters - and five digital Commended images by Sara Josey, John Powell, Lizzie Wallis, Jo Ashton, & Jan Sullivan.
