WITH fun for all the family, the Country and Western-themed Village Fete at St Florence was an absolute blast! Next, the village hall is anticipating a bumper July Market.

What with the live music, raffle and family games, name the pony and the lasso competition – from the high-energy rodeo challenge and line dancing to the classic fun of welly wanging and horseshoe throwing – there was never a dull moment at the Village Fete held on Saturday, June 20.

St Florence WI loved helping out, serving tea and coffee and arranging games and stalls for all the families and friends who came along.

This fete was held to raise funds to refurbish the Village Hall where the WI meet each month.

The Sub Committee Team, extends a “huge thank you” to everyone who attended, took part in the activities, bought raffle tickets, supported the stalls, enjoyed the entertainment, and helped make the afternoon so special.

“A special mention must go to our fantastic line dancers, our talented singer, and everyone who embraced the theme and dressed up for the occasion. You all helped create such a fun and welcoming atmosphere.”

A great community hub for St Florence and the surrounding areas, St Florence Village Hall is available to hire for functions, meetings and clubs, and is currently in the process of being brought up-to-date.

All trader tables for the St Florence Village Hall Market on Saturday, July 11 are now fully booked. It promises to be a busy and vibrant market filled with wonderful local businesses, talented makers and fantastic products.

Why not go along and browse a fantastic selection of bespoke gifts, handmade crafts, jewellery, sweet treats, crystals, homeware and much more?
