A Monkton man has been fined in court for cannabis possession.
Forty-nine-year-old Mark Edwards, of Tenby Court, pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing 7.8 grams of the Classs B drug, when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Sian Vaughan told the court that police executed a warrant at Mr. Edwards’s previous address on Chestnut Way, Milford Haven, on September 5, and found the quantity of cannabis, which the defendant admitted was for his own personal use.
Defence solicitor Mark Layton told the court that Mr. Edwards made a full and frank admission in a police interview.
Magistrates fined him £80 for the offence and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
