A Monkton man has been fined for being in possession of drugs after he was searched as a passenger in a friend’s vehicle.
Twenty-two-year-old Macauley Dennis Richard Breen, of Colley Court, admitted possessing 4.4 grams of MDMA when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones told the court that Mr. Breen was a back seat passenger in a vehicle which was stopped on September 22 in Haverfordwest by police officers.
“It was a routine stop check by officers, but Mr. Breen appeared nervous in the back and was searched. He has three previous drug offences to his name, the most recent last year,” he added.
Magistrates fined Mr. Breen £120 for the offence and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
