A local man will appear at Llanelli magistrates court next month after denying a Christmas Day drink-drive charge.
Thirty-four-year-old Jez Franklin Holden, of Maes Elyn John, Reynalton, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to plead not guilty to driving a Hyundai vehicle on the A4115 road at Templeton, on December 25, whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol.
Mr. Holden is recorded as giving a reading of 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at the police station after his arrest.
The defendant admitted a further charge of driving a motor vehicle in a public place without third party insurance.
The case was transferred to Llanelli magistrates where Mr. Holden, who was released on unconditional bail, will now appear for a hearing on February 1.
