An arrest warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Tenby man who failed to show up at court.

Forty-eighty-year-old David Jones of Newel Hill was due to appear at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday after he was charged with the theft of money to the value of £3,600 belonging to another male.

The offence is alleged to have taken place between March 8 and March 21 of last year.

Magistrates issued a warrant without bail to secure the defendant’s appearance in court.
