Dinghy Racing - Due to adverse weather conditions, club racing was cancelled last Sunday.

Message from the sailing captain - the date for the sailing meeting is January 18, starting at 6.30 pm. A draft agenda will be circulated in the next few days, allowing you all ample time to forward to me any items that you’d like to add/discuss. These are to be in by January 11 to give time to finalise.

Junior Sailing

The Junior section had their annual prize-giving last week at the club. They were treated to excellent food and a very enjoyable party. The juniors even allowed some of their parents and instructors to tag along and join in the fun. A big thank you went out to all those who helped throughout the season.

The cup winners were as follows: Junior Cup (Traveller) for the most miles travelled over the year going from competition to competition promoting Tenby at the same time - Ioan and Oscar Thompson; Bulmer Cup - Saffron Owen; Boucher Cup, 10 and under attendance (male) - Matthew Shaw. Cygnet Cup, 10 and under attendance (female) - Amelia Nuttall; James Williams Cup, racing winner - Oscar and Iolo Shaw; Sheerwater Cup, racing runner-up - Jasmine Haigh and Katie David; Steve Finch Cup, over 10 attendances - Iolo Shaw.

Junior training has now finished for the year and will restart next year in the early spring. Please keep your eyes peeled to this space for details. This is a very popular sail training event that is held by the club and is usually oversubscribed so it is a first come first served basis.
