The sailing club are pleased to announce that we have installed new caterers for the next two seasons.
They are Dai Ellis and Steve Roblin, along with their team they also have the Llanion Cove. They have already put a fabulous five-course Valentines meal that was well received and there are plans afoot for other special nights.
We understand that Mother’s Day and Easter Sunday are important family occasions. To this end, we would like you to use the club on both these days as a meeting point before your family event and take advantage of the warm welcoming atmosphere that the club has to offer.
Juniors
With the new season approaching we are looking forward to junior sailing nights starting again on a Wednesday evening. Hopefully, most of last year’s young members will continue to attend, and in addition we can cater for a limited number of newcomers each month.
The minimum age to start sailing at TSC is eight years, but older children are welcome. Enrolment sessions will be held on Wednesdays, March 21 and 28, at 6 pm. Parent/guardian required to countersign entry forms.
If there is a problem turning up on those nights or for any further information, phone Blake on 07717842713 (email [email protected]).
Actual sailing sessions will start on Wednesday, April 4. Please turn up by 5 pm to get on the water by 5.45 pm. BBQ food available after sailing, with parents invited to come along and join in.

RNLI quiz with bangers and mash will be held at the club on Friday, March 16, at 7 pm, with the quiz starting at 8 pm. Cost is £10 a head, with tickets available at Dale’s, Morris Brothers and any RNLI fundraising team member. All are welcome, so please do come down and support this worthy cause.
There will be food served at the club every night when there is sailing on, then as the season progresses the gap between will decrease until we are open full-time offering a delicious menu of locally sourced fare, with all dietary needs taken care of.
The commodore’s monthly quiz/league and raffle has kicked off. It is on the last Saturday every month (unless a holiday), so if you feel you are the brains of Britain and would like to challenge for the cup, get a team together and come down the club. It is never too late to join in the league as all points accumulate until the grand final in November.
The cost of entry is £5 for a team of up to six people or £1 per player if you want to go it alone. Not everyone can make every month, so there is plenty of time to catch up. Remember it’s all for charity.
Date for the next commodore’s quiz is Saturday, March 24.
