This past Sunday Tenby Under 15s faced a big test against a strong St Clears team. The first half saw the travelling team scoring two answered tries and taking an early 0-10 lead. At this point Tenby started to take the game to the visitors. The forwards worked hard to retain the ball and the backs gaining vital territory with some lovely running lines.

Lewis would be the first to crash over and pull some points back for the seasiders, quickly followed by Alfie Pryor who also converted his own score to take Tenby into the lead for the first time. Jayden solidified the seasiders lead scoring their third try and taking the points to 17-10. A try for St clears on the half time whistle would see the score sit at 17-15 at the break.

Jayden started the second half as he had ended scoring his second of the morning. St Clears would reply with some lovely running and fast hands which put them over to score. Converting their try the score now sat at 22-22. Tenby continued to take the game to the away team with their forwards using their strength to push St Clears back.

Their hard work was rewarded with a second try for Lewis and once again Tenby took the lead. With the minutes counting down it looked like Tenby may take the win but St Clears kept chipping away at the territory and pushed the seasiders back to defending their line. With minutes to spare they would cross for their fifth try of the morning and the final score would be a draw 27-27.

Thanks once again to Ollie, Ethan Lewis, Tyler and Alex for playing up.
