On June 2, 17 cyclists and support crew left Harrogate in Yorkshire to cycle the 285 miles non stop back to Tenby in 36 hours. This was all in aid to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
The riders completed the ride within the time limit and we smashed our £2500 target and raised in total £9,056.
We all have been totally blown away by peoples generosity and support. We have to say a thank you to our sponsors who never asked for anything in return, Northen Agriculture, Andrew pearce plastering( support vehicle) Narberth travel (support vehicle) pizzabellas, princess gate water, Andrew Price, Burns pet food, Nigel Morgans builders, Cardigan bay caravan park, Coast to Coast caravans, R&M Williams, FB Masons, Cyclefit Tenby, Pembrokeshire Taxis, AW Austwel, Gina Hughes, Utopia, Cottleys Developments, capture the moment Pembrokeshire and Dringarth holiday cottage.
A big thank you to all support crew as there would be no way we would of made it back without them.
Then we have the cyclists, unbelievable people, gave so much for this cause thank you! But the biggest thank you must go to everyone who donated, it means so much and so worth while.
So while the big challange is done we want to continue with the fundraising, but on a smaller scale so next year we have a few events planned, the first one is in February where we have a night in the De valance planned and of course our annual social ride to Cardigan will be in the spring.
All details will be released on our Harten400 Facebook page very soon so give us a follow to hear it first.
