The summer holidays are now over, but the youngsters are still swinging away at Trefloyne Manor each Saturday with coach Ryan Townsend.

Last Saturday, the Junior Academy faced a chilly, but sunny morning, while working on their short game!

Starting with the boys, some very good scores were compiled and a very good level of play was seen, as well as some excellent shots.

Golfer of the Week went to Tom! One of the academy’s newest recruits, he has hit the ground running and played particularly well during last weekend’s session.

Afterwards, the girls had their chance to score more points than the boys. Overall, Anya got the highest of the day, but in a play-off Maisie took the prize. A special mention to them both, however, as they both played very well throughout the session.

The next Junior Academy session will be held tomorrow (Saturday), starting at 10 am.
