Nineteen pairs entered the Gents RA Cup competition - a foursomes stableford event with a shotgun start.

Leading scores and prize winners were: 1. Jerry Whitehouse and Dave Morris 41 pts (RA Cup plus £26 each); 2 Martin Neilan and Brian Jones 34, on countback (£15 each); 3. Gary McNeilly and David Cope 34 (£10 each).

Bag draw: Chris Smith and Martin Durham, Steve Williams and Vernon Lawrence, Gary McNeilly and Dai Cope, Lee Lewis and Neil Evans (£5 per person).

Twos: There were no twos, so there were more bag draws, each getting £5 per person - Martin Neilan and Brian Jones, Chris Beecher and Jim Moffatt, Dai Skyrme and Neil R. Thomas.
