The final round of the Llewelyn Davies shield took place on May 28. The best Stableford scores recorded were 39 points by Mr. Roger Bird, followed by Wyndham Taylor on 38 points and Richard Spiller on 36 points. Apologies to Richard for the incorrect surname used in last week’s report. Richard was the only golfer to improve on his combined score with the increase of four points taking him into joint first place with Dave Green and Fred Malin. On 144 points were Mike Skidmore and Alan Ewings and closely followed by Steve Price on 143 points. The three players in first place will play a deciding round at a date to be decided.

There have been three more matches in the Andrew Rees Singles Competition, Mike Skidmore Recorded victories of five and three against Mr. Roger Bird and three and two against Alan Ewings, whilst Paul Stephens beat Richard Spiller by one hole.

Golfers are reminded that it will be the monthly medal on June 4, followed by the monthly management meeting.

The captains away day for June is booked for the South Pembrokeshire Golf Club Course on June 25. Confirmation and further details should be available next week.
