After a couple of weeks of postponements, it was nice to get back to playing football.

Tenby started in sprightly fashion dominating the midfield, where Harry and Max were breaking up the Robins possession and putting in some great passes out to the wide channels.

The Seasiders wingers, namely Riley and Iori were sticking to the game plan, staying wide in the space and really taking the game to the opposition’s defence.

Tenby went ahead after ten minutes, with Max scoring from a good long range shot.

Tenby had two debutants on the bench, with Archie and Leo making an impact immediately after entering the arena.

Archie scored twice before half time playing in right midfield.  Leo made an exceptional last gasp tackle on the edge of the area to prevent a definite goal.

At the interval, Tenby were 0-3 up.  Tenby made some changes, with Toby coming out of goal and George volunteering to go in between the sticks in exchange.

Toby looked very comfortable in the back line, alongside Blake and Oliver, with all three putting in some great challenges.

Tenby’s Evan was leading the line very well, always playing on the shoulder of Pennar’s last man and offering himself to his teammates.

The Seasiders work rate was outstanding in the flanks, with Iori, Archie and Riley all tracking back to help out their teammates in defence.

Tenby were not to be denied adding to the scoreboard, with Iori getting his first of the game and the Archie getting his hatrick shortly afterwards.

Pennar pulled a goal back to make it 1-5, and then Tenby conceded a penalty.  George stood tall in goal, with the resultant penalty being missed.

The Seasiders’ Iori was in top form and was ready to add to his seasons talley, where he duly scored his second and then his hatrick.

George made an outstanding one handed finger tip save in the final moments to prevent Pennar getting another goal back.

Tenby’s coach was really impressed with the team spirit, with everyone willing to encourage and support each other.

Man of the match was Archie for a superb hatrick on debut.

Tenby fielded: Toby, Oliver, Blake, George, Iori, Riley, Harry, Max, Evan, Leo and Archie.
