Two Welsh rugby personalties were in Tenby last week for a spot of seaside winter filming at the resort.
As part of a programme for Boom TV Cymru, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery (still closed to the public under Covid restrictions) was visited by two legends of Welsh rugby union - recently retired referee Nigel Owens and former international player James Hook.
With the assistance of museum trustee John Ross, they took shelter in the museum while filming on Castle Hill with local Ianto Griffiths, who was being interviewed for the programme.
James who also played for the British Lions during his career and is Wales’ fourth highest all-time points scorer was also joined by Nigel at Tenby Harbwr Brewery as his Welsh language learning mentor for filming for the S4C programme ‘Iaith Ar Daith’.
The pair picked fresh seaweed from Tenby’s North Beach in the wind and rain to add to the Brewery’s Trawlers’ Dread ale, then called in to the premises at Sergeants Lane to help with the brew, and sample the ales with a tasting session in the taproom.
