Tenby is once again set to see in 2017 with a bang and a large firework display.
Members of Tenby Town Council agreed at their meeting on Tuesday night to support the New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganza put on by Tenby House Hotel, that sees large crowds of festive revellers gather in Tudor Square to welcome in the new year.
Councillors said that they would contribute £300 once again this year to cover additional insurance costs for the venue.
“It’s a great event for the town and so popular, so I recommend that we contribute the same funding as last year,” said Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas.
