Police have confirmed that the death of a male in Tavernspite last week, is not being treated as suspicious.

Dyfed-Powys Police attended an address in Tavernspite, Whitland at approximately 5 pm on Wednesday, November 24, following welfare concerns being raised for a 59-year-old man,” said a police spokesperson.

“The ambulance service and fire service were also in attendance and sadly, the man was confirmed to be deceased.

“Next of kin have been informed and will continue to be supported by specialist officers.

“Their death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
