Surfacing work has begun on a section of the A477 road between Kilgetty roundabout and the Stepaside turn off.

According to a Welsh Government spokesperson for the Trunk Road Agency the lane had been closed for safety reasons for a number of weeks after extreme weather conditions at the beginning of the year caused damage to the road’s surface, making it a risk for users.

Surfacing work began on site last weekend and is expected to be completed in two weeks.
