The profile of Pembroke Dock and its two packed centuries of history have been raised even higher thanks to a new book from the prolific pens of Phil Carradice and Roger MacCallum.
They have joined forces again to produce Pembroke Dock 1814-2014: A Bicentennial Look Back which has just been published by Amberley Publishing Ltd of Stroud.
The authors will be in town to sign copies of the book on Wednesday at the Sunderland Trust's visitor centre at Fleet Surgeon's House in the Royal Dockyard.
Pembroke Dock 1814-2014: A Bicentennial Look Back runs to 96 pages and has 150 photographs which evocatively capture so many milestones, headlines and memories of a remarkable community.
It is another important contribution to the Bicentennial celebrations which are taking place throughout 2014 (see whttp://www.pembrokedock.ork.uk/bicentenary">www.pembrokedock.ork.uk/bicentenary
