Saundersfoot’s new all-inclusive play park will be opening this weekend.
On Saturday (December 4), the Chair of Saundersfoot Community Council, Clr. Michael Wainwright, will formally open the facility that sits behind the Regency Hall at 10 am, which will then be usable by young people who have been patiently waiting.
The Community Council was successful in obtaining grants from the National Lottery Community Grant Scheme and the Pembrokeshire County Council Enhancing Pembrokeshire Grant scheme to assist in the funding of the new play park.
Members of the Community Council have been working hard to bring this project to fruition, especially under the added challenges that Covid restrictions brought.
Work to remove the old play equipment commenced back in April.
