Pembroke Rotary Club had great pleasure in presenting a cheque for £700 to MIND Pembrokeshire, helping to support individuals suffering from the trauma of mental illness to recover within the community.

MIND was the sponsored charity for the Family BBQ held at Manorbier Castle in the summer, which was greatly enjoyed by everyone who attended.

The Rotary Club is grateful to Dame Emily Naper for the use of the castle and for kindly donating the castle gate receipts to MIND.

Jonathan Davies, president of Pembroke Rotary Club, said: "The Manorbier BBQ was a great fun evening and we are delighted to be able to help MIND which carries out such vital work in our community."
