Police are investigating an allegation of a serious assault which occurred between 2.20 and 2.30 am on Sunday, in Main Street, Pembroke.

Two males were taken to hospital for treatment.

A 23-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assault and later released on bail pending further police enquiries.

DS Dale Scriven said: “I am aware that a large number of people were in the street at the time and I would ask them to come forward as they may have information which could help the police investigation.”
