Among planning applications considered by Tenby Town Council at their remote meeting this week, for recommendation to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority were the following:

NP/21/0043/FUL: Extension of domestic curtilage and creation of off-road parking for 2 vehicles in newly extended area (partially retrospective) at Queen’s Quarry, Queen’s Parade, Tenby (Refusal recommended - members are concerned that this proposal will increase traffic movements over the only pedestrian footway in the vicinity. Members are also concerned that the mitigation measures proposed do not adequately protect the cliff face from collapse).

NP/21/0032/FUL: Erection of a storage tent for use in association with the B1 use of the industrial unit, at Unit 4, The Salterns, Tenby (Members have deferred their decision on this application until they can ascertain the business operation of the unit to determine what will be stored in the tent.

NP/21/0175/FUL: Demolition of existing garage, extension and remodelling of dwelling, construction of detached garage and workshop, temporary siting of caravan, associated works at Greenwood House, Heywood Lane, Tenby (Approval recommended - considered against all the relevant policies in the Local Development Plan members feel that this will deliver improvements to the aspect of the building with no adverse effects on the amenity of neighbours or its setting

NP/21/0169/LBA: Demolition of rear wall and replacement with glazing/extension. Alterations to roof including construction of dormer to front elevation. Demolition of chimney, Internal alterations. Works in association with proposed change of use to restaurant and hotel, at the Panorama Hotel, The Esplanade, Tenby (Approval recommended - considered against all the relevant policies in the Local Development Plan members feel that this will deliver improvements to the aspect of the building with no adverse effects on its setting

NP/20/0521/FUL: Proposed ground and lower ground floor family room and garage extension (amended plans), at 10 Upper Hill Park, Tenby (Approval recommended - the amended plans appear to address the previous concerns of the town council).
