Among planning applications considered by Tenby Town Council at their meeting this week, for recommendation to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority were the following:

NP/20/0458/FUL: Construction of new pitched roof over existing flat roof to provide 10 twin bedroom accommodation rooms for visiting golfers.

Alterations to entrance foyer and construction of new pitched roof over access stairs to new first floor accommodation.

Alterations to existing single storey extension to provide additional four twin bedrooms and one 3 bed disabled suite.

Internal alterations and construction of new single storey extension to provide new Pro shop facilities, at Tenby Golf Club, Battery Road, The Burrows, Tenby (Councillors recommended approval as this will enhance facilities to help provide economic stability for the club).

NP/20/0404/FUL:?Single storey flat-roofed rear extension and rear dormer extension, at Crew Cottage, 16 Trafalgar Road, Tenby (Councillors recommended approval, although members would ask that consideration be given to replacing the proposed plastic panelling with slate tile hanging and that any re-roofing should be with slate in keeping with the building’s location within the conservation area).

NP/20/0460/FUL: Replacement dwelling, at Greenwood House, Heywood Lane, Tenby (Councillors recommended approval subject to a comprehensive root protection plan to protect any affected trees on site during construction).
