Tenby councillors have approved an amended design for plans for the former Natwest Chambers on Tudor Square.

Full and listed buildings consent for alteration to the former bank frontage, provision of signage to fascia and high level, interior alterations to ground floor, was approved by members of the town council at a recent meeting.

On Tuesday night, the town clerk pointed out that he had received correspondence from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, informing the council that an amended design had now been put forward, which involved dropping part of the window sills, which councillors agreed to give the thumbs up to.

The premises is set to become an outlet for Cornwall based clothing company ‘Seasalt’.
