Pembroke Dock had a street cleaning exercise on Good Friday.
Lots of different media sources have mentioned how much Pembroke Dock needed to have a morning of clearing all the disgusting litter left behind by the public.
The result was that about 14 volunteers turned up and came prepared to do their job and they sure did it well.
"I would have liked to see more volunteers, but it was down to the hard core once more," said Deputy Mayor, Clr. Peter Kraus.
"A lot of people complain about the rubbish everywhere, but when it comes to doing anything, they are not to be seen. If everyone took their litter home, none of this extra work would be necessary."
He continued: "We had the shop owners and members of the Chamber of Trade, the fantastic Pembroke Dock Fire Service, private individuals like myself. Lots of work was done and made a huge impact on the town. To finish off the morning, teas, coffees and lovely cup cakes gave the final touch. Thank you to everyone who helped."
Another litter picking day will be held in May to keep on top of everything.
