The first of these was at Cosh Brewery where in a tight finish the visiting St. Govan's B snatched victory by just two points.
Meanwhile, at the Charlton, the visiting Alma B, pointless to date, obviously loved the questions and went home with a convincing win over the home B team.
At the Alma, the A team entertained the First and Last in a good contest which found the teams going neck and neck and entered the last round with the Alma side one point ahead.
Alas too late before the Alma finally realised that the subjects were not exactly what they seemed!
The last round saw excellent scoring from the First and Last who took 15 points to the Alma's three and ran out comfortable winners from what both sides said were good questions.
Highest scorers on the night were the Naval Club, who obviously love flowers and children's TV as, after their trip to play St. Govan's A, they managed 80 points in a thumping win.
At the Station, the A took on the Charlton A and, although they always trailed the home four, it was only by one point going into round six, but here they stumbled, or should I say fell over, not scoring a point, and suffered a heavy defeat.
But at the top, who can derail the Station B machine; they made the journey to the Golf Club, who gave them a fright, but in the end continued their winning ways in a close result by just four points.
The week's results were: St. Govan's A 50, Naval Club 80; Charlton B 64, Alma B 77; Alma A 61, First and Last 72; Station A 72, Charlton A 50; Golf Club 63, Station B 67; Cosh Brewery 58, St. Govan's B 60.
This leaves the Station B with 30 points on top of the table, Station A with 27, Cosh Brewery and the Charlton A 21 points and the First and Last with 18.
