Pembroke Macmillan Committee held their annual Pancake Day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support recently.
Dilys Hanmer MBE, honorary county president, said she was delighted with the support received from the community, raising approximately £500 for Macmillan.
She expressed her thanks to all who contributed to the success of the event; to Capital Roasters of Pembroke Dock for supplying the coffee; Rose Blackburn, Pembroke town crier; and Pembroke and Monkton Local History Society members for their assistance and for arranging an exhibition of Welsh costume, which added to the enjoyment of the morning.
The Pancake Day has been held each year for 12 years and is a major fundraising event for the charity.
