As previously reported, the death occurred peacefully at Park House Nursing Home, on Thursday, August 22, of Mr. Bryan Davies, of Llanmiloe.
A native of Ludchurch, he attended Ludchurch School and Narberth Grammar School. On leaving school, he took up an apprenticeship with Heaps Builders, Tenby, followed by national service when he served in Egypt during the Suez conflict.
On his return from national service, he married Pam and moved to Pendine to live and worked on the MOD Establishment for 35 years.
His main interests were his family and his dogs.
After retirement, he and Pam had many wonderful holidays together, and visited the USA and Canada.
Left to mourn are his wife Pam, Margaret (sister), Donald and Peter (brothers) and their families. Also Julie, Kevin, Lucy and Rhys (nephews and nieces).
The funeral service took place at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, on Tuesday, September 5.
Officiating was the Rev. Hugh Davies, while bearers were Donald and Peter Davies (brothers), Rhys Davie (nephew) and Clyde Thomas (brother-in-law).
Bryan’s ashes were later interred in the family grave at Longstone Congregational Chapel, Ludchurch.
