Sir,
For Linda to see the statue of Pembroke’s greatest son, King Henry VII, founder of the Welsh Tudor dynasty, suitably commemorated in such splendour must have filled her with great satisfaction.
There can be no doubt that Linda’s grit, perseverance and persistent efforts in fundraising were instrumental to the success of her quest to bring about such a noble achievement which must stand as an inspiration to young and old alike.
May I suggest that Pembroke Town Council put her name forward for an accolade in recognition of her services to the town of Pembroke.
Monica Vanner,
Pembroke
