The first duty HM The Queen will undertake on her visit to Pembroke Dock next week will be to unveil the town's bicentenary memorial timeline wall. The project, sponsored by Valero, has seen local artist Paul Webb working with children from the town's three schools, to produce ceramic tiles depicting the children's images of their hometown. Paul has also produced illustrations showing major events in the town's 200-year history and these will be set in a six-metre wall, in the shape of a wave, designed by Pembroke Design Limited. The memorial is set inside the grounds of the Royal Dockyard Chapel, and will be unveiled with the help of children from the three schools. Pictured are Will James from Valero, Mrs. Julie Frazer, head, and Paul Webb, artist with pupils from St. Mary's School.
