Clr. David Boswell, RBL and formerly of the Royal Regiment of Wales, was parade marshal.
Members of Haverfordwest Branch RBL also attended (secretary Graham Johnson and Poppy Appeal organiser Gary Evans), along with local councillors and members of the public and members of the Collins family.
The Rev. Michael Rowlands, of the Royal Army Chaplain's Department and Vicar of St. Mary's, Roch, officiated.
Footnote: Clr Clive Collins, previously chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, was instrumental in establishing the memorial stone at Pelcomb (the nearest venue to the birthplace of Pte Thomas Collins, a famous son of Pembrokeshire, being the only representative of the county at the famous battle of Rorke's Drift, which saw some 150 soldiers defend a supply station against 4,000 Zulus).
